  1. MODULES

Dynamic channels

Dynamic creation of unique voice channels which are configured by the server users themselves.

Setting up the module on the server

Permissions

Only server administrator can modify this module.

We recommend installing administrator permission to the bot, because this will allow it to access inaccessible APIs and create dynamic channels faster.

Setting up

Using command on your server

To install the module on the server, you need to enter the command /voice setup language:. Where language is the language of .

Using dashboard on our website

  1. Open https://raccoon-bot.com/;

  2. Click on Profile button in the upper right corner, click on Sign In button and log in using your Discord account;

  3. Click on your avatar or nickname and go to Dashboard;

  4. Select the server you need;

  5. Go to the Dynamic channels module selecting it in server menu which is located in the left side of the screen;

  6. Press Create category button.

This action will set the category of dynamic channels on your server.

Administrators can rename the category, the channel with the control panel and the channel for creating rooms, this will not influence the work of the bot.

Dynamic channel creation

To create a dynamic channel, enter the channel [+] Create channel. At this point, the bot will create your channel with your settings and moves you there.

Presets

Black- and whitelist

Whitelist

Users and roles from the whitelist will always be able to see the channel and enter it if the capacity limit for participants in the room is reached. You can add any user and role to this list if the bot has permission to override the permissions for it.

Blacklist

Users and roles added to the blacklist will never be able to see the channel and, accordingly, enter it.

Let's clarify something

  1. Each preset has its own black- and whitelist.

  2. User permissions take precedence over roles. If you add a role to the blacklist, but a user with this role will be whitelisted, then he will see your channel and be able to enter it.

In the Discord server settings, it is recommended to move the bot role to the very top of the list to avoid problems with permissions redefinition.

Preset is a set of channel settings that the user creates while using the channel. Each user has the opportunity to create up to such presets. Each preset is an independent set of settings: channel name, capacity, black- and whitelist, visibility and availability of the channel, and more. Thus, users can create presets for different scenarios: communication, playing in a team, watching movies and more! You can change or create a preset in the channel information. You can get it by clicking
